History literally lines the walls in St. Boniface and St. Meinrad parishes. Within these liturgical spaces, our families have worshipped for generations. We have welcomed newcomers of various backgrounds and handed on our faith, even as it was handed down to us from our ancestors in the faith. Our story is part of who we are, and we must not forget it, but must share it with the Church universal.
Our Heritage and Marketing Commissions serve as the keepers of our story; they are in charge of continuing to build the narrative of our story, drawing attention to it through a variety of new and old media, and discerning and discovering resources and relationships that better enable us to keep our heritage strong and our facilities sturdy, so we can transmit our story to our children and our children’s children.
The men and women of this commission animate the annual celebrations of our parishes, patronal saints and their feast days: St. Boniface and St. Meinrad.
Commission chairpersons are selected from among its commission members and serve on the pastoral council for one three-year term. They are eligible to be re-nominated for an additional one-year term. Commission terms begin in July and end in June.
The Pastoral Council of St. Boniface Parish and St. Meinrad Parish serves as a collective group of parishioners, from both parishes, as an advisory body to the pastor, establishes the mission, goals and pastoral plan of our parish family, and provides counsel concerning both parish and pastoral matters with faith and morals, civil and church law and archdiocesan policy.

The Heritage and Marketing Commissions meet jointly in Room 105 of the St. Boniface Parish Center and Shelter House, on the fourth Tuesday of March, August, and October.
The St. Boniface Commission meets the second Monday of September to review the summer picnic.
The St. Meinrad Commission meets the second Monday of November to review the fall picnic.
